Paper Rex claimed the VCT Pacific Stage 1 title on Sunday, May 17, dismantling FULL SENSE 3-0 in the grand final at the Thiskyhall Sala Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. f0rsakeN earned series MVP honors after racking up 63 kills across three maps, the highest individual total of the entire Stage 1 playoffs.
PRX took Pearl 13-10, Lotus 13-9, and Fracture 13-10. FULL SENSE held an early 7-5 lead on Pearl at halftime but watched PRX rip away eight of the next eleven rounds to close the map. That pattern repeated across the series: the Thai squad competed in stretches but could not sustain pressure against a PRX side firing on all cylinders.
Fourth Pacific Title Cements PRX Dynasty
This is Paper Rex’s fourth VCT Pacific regional championship overall, and the organization now holds more Pacific trophies than any other team in the league’s history. The title also gives Invy his first Pacific championship since joining PRX from Team Secret in December 2025. The Filipino flex player slotted into a roster that already featured Jinggg, d4v41, and something alongside f0rsakeN, and the five-man unit has now won a trophy in their first full split together.
PRX reached the grand final through the lower bracket after dropping their opening playoff match 1-2 to Global Esports in the upper semifinals. That loss proved to be a wake-up call. Paper Rex beat Kiwoom DRX 2-1, edged T1 2-1, then dismantled Global Esports 3-0 in the lower final on Saturday before carrying that momentum straight into the grand final.
FULL SENSE’s Debut Season Ends With a Masters Slot
FULL SENSE entered the VCT Pacific partnership for 2026 after Riot Games removed TALON Esports from the league in November 2025. The Thai organization picked up TALON’s former roster slot, built a competitive squad, and reached the grand final in their first split. A 3-0 loss in the final stings, but the bigger picture is clear: FULL SENSE secured a VCT Masters London berth by beating Global Esports 2-0 in the upper final earlier in the bracket.
No Korean Teams at Masters for the First Time
All three VCT Pacific representatives heading to Masters London are non-Korean organizations: Paper Rex (Singapore), FULL SENSE (Thailand), and Global Esports (India). This marks the first time in VCT history that no Korean team will compete at a Masters event. Nongshim RedForce, who won Masters Santiago earlier this year, were eliminated during the Stage 1 playoffs. Kiwoom DRX and T1 both fell during the lower bracket. The sole Korean presence at Masters London from the Pacific side will be GE’s Udotan, an individual player on Global Esports’ roster.
What Comes Next
Paper Rex head to Masters London 2026 as the Pacific’s first seed. The event runs June 6 through June 21 at the Copper Box Arena. PRX also locked in a direct qualification spot for Esports World Cup 2026. FULL SENSE and Global Esports join them in London, with both teams entering from the Swiss Stage. PRX now carry a specific mission: extend the Pacific region’s streak of four consecutive Masters titles, a run built by Gen.G at Masters Shanghai, T1 in Bangkok, PRX themselves in Toronto, and Nongshim at Santiago.
