Sangal have transfer-listed Robert “Patsi” Isyanov and Timur “clax” Sabirov, leaving the Turkish organization with a single active player and no competitive roster in CS2.

The benching, confirmed on May 24, follows Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt’s loan move to OG four days earlier. Sangal’s last official match dates back to early April, when the team won Urban Riga Open Season 4 with stand-ins CYPHER and smooya. That tournament victory now reads like a farewell party nobody planned.

What’s Left in the Sangal Roster

The active lineup, if you can call it that, is Selman “R4DYX” Ozan. The 17-year-old Turkish AWPer was promoted from the academy in January and has not appeared in a competitive server since March. Evgeny “Norwi” Ermolin and Danil “danistzz” Roslyakov remain on the bench, both listed for transfer or inactive since early 2026.

Sangal peaked at #69 in the Valve Regional Standings with this core. As of today, the org sits at #72 with no matches scheduled and no path to field five players.

The CIS Experiment That Ran Out of Time

Sangal signed Patsi, clax, and Norwi from Astrum in July 2025, one day after losing their previous Polish core to Eternal Fire. The Russian trio arrived as a package deal, and for a few months, the math looked promising: a starting VRS position of #51, climbing to a peak inside the top 70.

But the project bled pieces faster than it could build chemistry. r3salt’s loan expired at the end of 2025. Norwi was benched in January, loaned to SPARTA, and returned to the bench again in March. danistzz followed him there a week later. By the time Sangal suited up for Urban Riga with two borrowed players, the writing was on every wall in the server.

Patsi brings genuine pedigree to the free agent market. The 22-year-old Russian rifler played for Team Spirit in 2022, competed at PGL Major Antwerp, and spent time with Team Liquid in 2023. His 1.07 HLTV Rating 3.0 and utility-first support style make him a plug-and-play option for any team hunting roster upgrades ahead of the post-Major transfer window.

clax, 23, is a more understated name but carries a peak individual ranking of #20 according to HLTV. Both players signed with Sangal from Astrum in July 2025 and came in as a proven duo. Any org looking at one should be looking at both.

What Happens to Sangal Now?

Sangal Esports has been part of Turkish Counter-Strike since 2017. The organization survived roster cycles, a headquarters move to the Netherlands, and the loss of its previous core to Eternal Fire. But an org with one inactive teenager on the books and five players on the bench is an org in name only.

R4DYX is the last thread connecting Sangal to competitive CS2. Whether the organization rebuilds around its academy pipeline or steps away from the game entirely will depend on decisions made in the coming weeks. For now, Sangal’s CS2 chapter reads like it ended on a LAN stage in Riga, with two borrowed players and a trophy nobody expected.

Patsi and clax are available as free agents. Sangal have not announced plans for a new roster.
